Today marks the first major deadline for mailing in U.S. Census forms before field representatives start going door to door.

About 43 percent of Los Angeles households have already mailed in their forms which is somewhat lower than the national 52 percent mail in rate.

So, if you haven't mailed in your census form, take the time to fill out the ten questionnaire and drop it in the mailbox. As you do, keep the following in mind:
